Nebraska National Guard State Referral Bonus  Program

Earn $1,000 for Strengthening Our Ranks – One Referral at a Time!

The Nebraska State Referral Bonus program is your chance to make a real impact by helping grow the Nebraska National Guard. Know someone who's ready to serve? Refer them to a Recruiter—and if your lead results in an enlistment, you'll earn a $1,000 incentive. Open to Soldiers and Retirees, this is your opportunity to support the mission and get rewarded for it!

Who's Qualified ?

  • Former Nebraska National Guard servicemembers who are retired or who separated from service under honorable conditions are eligible, recognizing their prior service and continued connection to the Nebraska National Guard.

  • Current Nebraska National Guard Soldiers or Airmen must be in good standing, meaning they are not flagged for adverse actions; flags related solely to fitness or body composition do not disqualify eligibility.

  • Nebraska Military Department (NMD) employees, including personnel assigned to the Nebraska Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), are eligible as part of the broader Nebraska military community.

  • All SRBP Assistants must be Nebraska residents at the time of participation; however, individuals who are temporarily residing outside the state due to military orders remain eligible as long as Nebraska is their state of residency.

Step 5: Enlistment

The assigned Recruiter will prepare all paperwork necessary for the referred lead to enlist, which takes place at a MEPS Station. The SRBP Assistant will facilitate and encourage the Recruit through the Enlistment Process.

Step 6: Payment Disbursement

Once the referred lead ships to Basic Combat Training, the contract will be sent to JFHQ in Lincoln for verification that all contractual obligations have been met. The SRBP Assistant will provide any additional necessary documents to enable the SRBP Manager to process the payment. Payment will be processed 10 days after the lead shipment is confirmed.
