Do you have a story to tell? Would you like to get it published? Submit your idea by emailing stories@gxonline.com.

Whether you’re a Soldier or civilian, we want to hear about your Guard experience. Don’t worry about perfection. Just tell us about whatever you find interesting. No story is too big or too small. We want real stories from real people.

Examples of story ideas:

  • Deployment – What was it like? Unique events? How was the local food?
  • Domestic –  Were you there for a hurricane or flood? Community call?
  • School – Did you go to Ranger School? Airborne? Mountain Warfare?
  • Family pride – Share about a parent, spouse or child who’s serving.
  • Basic Training – Tell the highs, the lows, the hard, the humorous.
  • Joining the Guard – Tell why you joined, or why you’re considering it.

It’s not limited to those. Anything goes. It’s all about you and a story you think is worth telling. Photos and videos are welcome, and you don’t have to accompany a written piece if they tell a story on their own.
