Default Do full time recruiters get GRAP? Something stinks here...

I received an email that has me a little...'concerned'...

A Private takes a friend of hers to meet the (full time) Recruiter...Recruiter logs in friend of Private, and tells her "Ok, friend is entered into the system, I'll split the bonus with you..." Private is wondering if she got shafted...My initial response is YES YOU DID....

I instructed her to sign up for GRAP and get leads entered herself before making introductions to the recruiter in the future, but WTF is up with this "splitting the bonus" stuff?

My Spidey Sense is tingling on this one...Help me out here, guys...

Sir, I dont believe that recruiters are eligible for the bonus and if i remember right you are not allowed to split the bonus. Someone is being sneaky.

Not AGR....Title 32 ADOS though...

Quote:
ESAR was established to instill in all Soldiers and leaders that Every Soldier is a Recruiter. ESAR is open to individuals in the ARNG (SELRES), including AGR Soldiers on Active Duty, Military Technicians (MILTECHs) and Active Duty for Special Work (ADSW) personnel. ESAR is also open to Soldiers of the USAR, Active Army, and retired members of the U.S. Army.

Sir this needs to be reported to the recruiter's CoC pronto, what he is doing is highly prohibited. If it is as the Soldier describes this will mean his job and possible UCMJ action.

Anyone on active duty orders (AGR, ADOS, mobilized, and active component) can participate in ESAR. M-Day (traditional Soldiers) can do G-RAP. ESAR only pays for non-prior service enlistments, whereas G-RAP gives credit for prior service, and even officers. G-RAP also provides an account to direct order recruiting supplies.

When you know for a fact something this shadey is going on, it is your duty as a soldier to report this. IF you know it for a fact. If you dont, then posting it on a forum is just as shadey.

Taking a pen home for personal use, or once out of 20 years calling into drill sick because of a hangover isnt necessarily mandatory reporting material. But what you posted is. This isnt an opinion or a thought, it is MANDATORY you report something like that if you know it as fact. What the origianl poster posted probably needs a little more investigation (to make sure there wasnt miscommunication in there somewhere) before its reported, but i've heard of it too, just not firsthand or know who the culprit was.

As a former MP, I suggest having probable cause besides a private's email. Not saying the private is lying but need some more substantial information. Obviously circumstances like these probably has occurred on more than one occasion but makes great coffee talk. Don't ruin someones credibility or a career without the true facts.

Who wants to open a MPI (misdemeanor) or CID (felony) investigation?
