The ARNG offers a diverse selection of specialties and occupations (MOS's) that are directly transferable to what you may already be doing in the private sector. The specialties range from the most basic skills to highly technical jobs in computer networks, fiber optics and avionics. You will normally train and work part time but will also be ready to serve your state and your country whenever and wherever you are needed.
