issues with cramps usually (but not always) are related to your hydration level and flexibility. Make sure you are doing a solid amount of stretching, with extra focus on problem areas. Keep Tension and Time in mind as a short stretch is not beneficial. A good rule of thumb is stretch to a point where you begin to feel a minor amount of strain (do not overdue it) and hold that position without bouncing for at least 15 seconds (1000, 2000, 3000...).
Also make sure you use a variety of stretching excercises as opposed to relying on a few stretches everyday over and over again.
