Questions about OCS

I am a foreign language and justice student at a comm. college.

1. If I join the National Guard OCS program with less than 90 credits, am I deployable before I have my 90 credits and my commission?

2. Again, if I join the National Guard OCS with less than 90 credits, what rank would I be before my commission?

3. What kind of bonuses are available to officers?

1. You are not deployable until you are fully trained -- completed OCS, and BOLC-II and BOLC-III. You can deploy with less than a full degree, however.
2. As an OCS candidate, you are paid at pay grade E6 -- but you're not a Staff Sergeant, you're and OCS Candidate.
3. Currently there is a $10k lump sum bonus payable after completion of BOLC-III. I can't promise if that will still be in effect when you are commissioned.
