    HI.
I'm 19 and will have my associate degree in criminal justice in May.
Being young, I can't get employed by any police department, but am looking for job expericence. Just wondering if being an MP in the national guard would help or be useful?
    thanks.

Being an MP in the National Guard would increase your chances to be picked up by a local police department. I my area, most of the police departments accepting applications are looking for applicants with previous military experience, especially if that experience is in the MP career field.
