    Default Smp?

    Im In The Process Of Enlisting..i Went To Meps Wed 31 May 2006 To Take The Asvab...i Scored A 67, But My St Score Was 100, And Want My Mos To Be 96b, And The St Score Has To Be 101...so I Was Off By A Point...now I Have To Wait 30 Days Before I Can Go Back And Retest...i Was Wondering About This Smp Thing. Exactly How Does It Work? By My Contracting Smp, Does That Effect My Enlistment Bonus, And Other Any Other Type Of Incentives/bonus That I May Be Eligible For...please Someone Let Me Know...thanks In Advance.

    The best person with whom to speak about the SMP option is your Recruiter. Will you be a college junior in the fall? You should also speak to your state's Officer Strength Manager about an Guard ROTC scholarship (2, 2.5, or 3 years). As long as you qualify, you have a strong chance of getting it.

    Yes, I Will Be A Junior In The Fall. Well, The Spring, Because I Plan On Shipping Out For Basic Within The Next 2 Or 3 Months.
