I have been researching reenlistment in the ARNG (Nevada). I have an OTH RE-4 from the USMC Reserve. (Young and foolish and went UA.) I have a couple questions, I heard that the regulations in relation to Discharges/Separation codes in regards to reenlistment were changed in October, or are being changed this month (December). Is there a resource where I can look up this information? I am also beginning the process of attempting to get my discharge upgraded to general under honorable with maybe an RE-3D for misconduct. ( I'll take anything to get back in!) and I've requested my records from NARA. Is there anything else I should know before proceeding?
