    I was QRB in 05 i was told i could go into the reserves but i was given an re4 for my discharge why if the regs say re3 was i geiven an re4 i want to go ibnto the reserves and have a unit lined up but that re4 is topping me

    The RE code would not matter either way since, unfortunately, there is no waiver authorized for re-entry of personnel who were discharged as a result of a Qualitative Management Program (QRB, SRB or MRD).

    That was not what i was told by the chief of staff for the TAG for Oklahoma. He was asked point blank by my BN commander that since i was being removed from the Guard then if it was possible for me to go to the Reserves and he told us yes. All i had to do was wait for my discharge and then i could enlist in the reserves as several others had done it. Also it seems unfair that if i had just retired instead of trying to remain in the Guard since i was told i had a year to get my profile and apft score back up but was removed in 5 months that i could have rejoined the guard itself. My fault i know for not getting things done quickly but I feel as if i was shortchanged for trying to stay instead of leaving ,kinda leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
