im in high school and im joining when im 17 for the national guard then the navy so does anyone have any suggestions before i make this decison.
also what should i be doing in this year i have left .

If you are 17 and still in high school...join. It's called split opt and that is what I have done. I am very glad that I chose to join the guard before college. If you join before your seinor year, then you can have ACT's and SAT's paid for in some states and you will get basic training out of the way before college.
