Inter state transfer

I recently requested for an inter state transfer from GA guard to WA. My question is, in GA we did our annual training in Oct., at the beginning of the new fiscal year for 2012. I wanted to know would I have to attend annual training again at my newly assigned unit?

Strictly speaking no. Technically, you can have a "good (retirement) year" without even performing AT at all. You could potentially arrive at your new unit and simply request not to go to AT with the caveat that you've already performed AT for the fiscal year and can't justify the additional time away from work, family ect. On the other hand annual training is a great opportunity to really get to know your new unit and learn the nuts and bolts of the organization.
