MP for the Guard

Greetings,

I have been interested in joining the Guard, but I want to get all the details about the Guard first. I have been told that the National Guard is the best military branch to join if I plan to seek a civilian law enforcement career. How true is this? If so, please explain. If not, please advice which branch to join please.

I would disagree about being the best branch but since you are serving part-time; you can pursue that career simultaneously while serving in the Guard. E-3??
