I love shooting, so I figured I'd start up another weapon accessories thread.

For foregrips, I've used a Troy vertical grip (i.e. gangster grip) and a Magpul AFG2. The Troy was great, but I ended up giving it to a friend that was going downrange. The AFG2 is nice, but requires a more unique hold. Magpul has you grip the rifle high on the centerline of the barrel, with your palm on the side and thumb wrapping over. Not sure how I feel about it, but it's comfortable enough.

As an aside, I also bought a part for my civvie rifle that I think is absolutely amazing. Look up the Magpul BAD. It's a device that migrates the bolt-catch functions to a tab inside the trigger well. I can reload and send the bolt forward by swiping down with my trigger finger. Cuts at least 3/4 of a second off my reload time. I can also lock the bolt open by pushing up on the tab. It's a $25 part, installs in five minutes. If you own an AR, definitely consider buying one. You won't regret it.
