Kicker Help

Hey all, got a question. Just got my first MGIB-SR payment (started school in Jan). The kicker payment was not in it. I called VA, and they said DoD denied my kicker. I have the kicker in my contract, sitting right in front of me. Who do I need to speak to to find out why DoD said I don't get the kicker any more? Is this something I start on with my unit, or something I just have to navigate on my own?

You can start with your unit, but you should also call your states Education Services Officer.
They can look you up in iMARC and tell you what your issue is pretty quickly.

Have the unit contact the Education Center. It could be a issue within iMARC. You can also contact the GIBILL support team that is in PEC who deals with the VA directly http://www.pec.ngb.army.mil/training/centers/esc/
