Well I'm 21 and 6'0 and weigh 276 and trying to loose as much weight as I can I have been drinking nothing but water and eating fruits and vegtables for 2 meals then eating a lite dinner I have been running the roads 4 times a week for an hour and doing push ups and sit ups I have lost 2 inches off my waist and gained one inch on my neck 18" I have my endurace built up to run 4 miles on the roads I think that I have hit a wall on the weight loss and need some help or advice. what should I do to over come this plateau?

Sounds like you are on the right track, If you are able to run 4 miles at a good pace, run 2 miles at a faster pace. Once you have the stamina now run for time. A big way to drop some pounds is to build more muscle, the more muscle you have the more calories you will burn. Do push-ups and sit-ups, these are excercises you will do at BCT. Good luck with your training.

Eating the vegetables and not drinking sweet drinks is excellent, but you also need protein when you exercise. A little meat or some nuts/seeds would be good. I'm not saying that would help you lose weight, though.

How long have you been doing this? 2" is something.

well I think that I am doing a good job I am beginning to see results, I porobably would be able to see them alot quicker but my job has me on straight grave yards and it's hard to do anything now days. I have been doing this for a little over a month and a half I have lost over 20 pounds and I feel great when I started I weight 289 and now weigh 267 at 6'0 I haven't ate sweets or had a soda in over 4 months. it's going to be difficult now that winter is setting in, I think I am going to ask my old wrestling coach if I can workout with the team. I have been running in a sauna suit and it is amazing on how much water you loose by jogging 2 miles. The recuiter told me to try to stay away from red meat as much as possible but I think that if I stay away from beef and stick with elk or deer meat I would be fine seens that it is much leaner than beef. My goal is to be at BCT in march hopefully I can achieve this and get out of this dead end job. does anybody know what kids of foods are fat burners?

well the only thing that I can say to you is keep up with it start eating fruits and veggies through the day then go run for an hour and eat what ever gets cooked for dinner but only one serving drink nothing but water no candy bars no soda pop to loose it you have to have a calorie intake that you burn more than you take in. I have a calorie intake of around 1100 to 1350 I have lost 30 pounds since august and 6 inches off waist. Just keep after it the results will come trust me.
