I was reading on the University of Vermont's website that for members of the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, and Coast Guard who serve more than 30days on active duty which includes training that they qualify for in state tuition. Then they write after this such term doesn't include full time National Guard duty.

I consulted the HEA act and then section 101 of title 10 United States Code for the definition of members of military and it is listed as above without mention to ARNG. So does that mean ARNG is lumped into Army or not apart of this benefit?

I only ask because I will have BCT this summer which is longer than 30days and this would qualifies for this incentive, but ARNG isn't excitedly stated. So did UVM take it upon themselves to deny ARNG, am I miss-interrupting the line about ARNG and it would qualify except for full time jobs in the guard, or is it stated elsewhere that ARNG isn't entitled to this benefit?
