You got to have guts I think what do you think?
I personally think that knowing what it is you're getting into actually helps you make a decision. A lot of times we are aprehensive about doing things that we don't know about, especially when whatever little we know are snipits we hear from people that really don't know much about the subject.
Also, the knowledge that something may be hard to do but that it's been done by thousands of other people just like you helps encourage you to try it. I don't think there's nothing (no matter how hard it seems to be be) that you won't be able to accomplish or do if you make the commitment to make it happen. Fear, the majority of the time, is due to not knowing what the outcome of something you're about to do would be. The more knowledge you gain, the better prepared you'll be to face the fear.

No one else?
I think it takes a lot to join. You either have it or you don't.
A little bit of common sense doesnt hurt either.![]()
Any more sayings?
You also have to have dedication
I guess no one likes my topic. Only like 5 people posted. Maybe they don't know what it takes

It takes detemination, courage, common sence, ect. It also helps if you know what you are going into. Know that there is a possibility that you will go into battle and possibly get wounded, die, or watch your new found friends get wounded or die. Also you can't just be anyone, you have to be in good physical and mental condition. It does take guts but its so much more than just guts. You have to be physically, mentally, and emotionally capable to handel it. It will be hard, VERY hard but you can make it through and be one of the proud people that serve America! God bless them all!
Is that all we have?
Also Respect?
Don't just jump for your goals, reach it so you won't fail.

Such an interesting topic here..What it takes to join the National Guard sums up to "U"...Do you got what it takes? Ask yourself, Are you ready!?! Are you ready to stand up from behind your country and take the stand..the stand that will bring you in front of your country to serve and protect her..and when you do take that stand you will successfully tell yourself that "you are responsible for what happens today and in the future..."![]()
It takes alot of courage to get into the National Guard..and i believe i got that...
