Default 1st RSP Drill this weekend.... interesting circumstances.

Okay, So I enlisted in the Utah ARNG a few weeks back, but I currently live in
Augusta GA. I'm not moving to Utah until I finish training, so it's been set up for me
to drill with the RSP here until I ship (I'm not even part of the RSP Unit here in Augusta.)
After I enlisted, I recieved ACU's, Boots, and PT uniforms, and I'm not exactly sure what I should report to drill in because I was just told when to be there.
(I had a run in with one of the recruiters I had previously worked with in Augusta at DEERS and she was shocked that I had uniforms, at all,
so I'm kinda thinking they might not get them here?)
My recruiter said that if I'm not told what to report in, wear my ACU's and bring PT's as
back up, I just don't want to **** anyone off. Any input/advice would be GREATLY appreciated.

Well, I can't give you a 100% answer on what you need to do. But, I would think you would show up in your PT's, because you normally do PT in the morning.

But, your best bet would be to contact chain of command, or some of the cadre at your RSP.

    Thanks!

One problem though, I'm essentialy just a guest with this Unit in GA .
I'm still getting payed for Drills by my RSP Unit back in Utah.
The Unit here doesn't, for lack of better words, hold any responsibility
for me besides giving the Utah RSP proof that I drilled.
    Confusing situation.

    Listen to your recruiter.

If you get there and they have decided to do PT first....then they'll simply have you go change (but MOVE WITH A PURPOSE....and do it quickly).

I have had RSP's where I show up in ACU's, sometimes in PT's; they will let you know what to do.

    Good Luck!

    Thank you! Haha
I'm hoping I'm not the odd ball out because of the whole
me not being in the GA National Guard thing but I I'm drilling here.
I expect to here a lot more why did you do that and
    that's stupid.

It's RSP, if its your first time, even first couple of times, they do not expect you to know anything and know you don't, so I've never heard anyone be called 'stupid' at RSP.

'Why'd you do that' would usually have you replying IDK, so expect 'DON'T do that, do this'...

Don't take it personally or dwell on it, just correct it and drive on.

Just do as your told, when you're told to do it, do it quickly and give it 100% and you'll be fine.

We had a courtesy driller at my RSP. The only thing that made him stand out, was that he was never on the pre-printed roll-call sheet, and the Recruiters had to remind the MSgt every month "He's a courtesy drill"

I apoligize, I think that might have gotten lost in translation.

I'm not talking about being called stupid for not knowing how
to do things, but for enlisting with another state on the other side
of the US. Of course, just out of teasing for fun and games.
I take no offense to it anyway, as it has happened a few times already.
