When asking questions about medical issues, please contact a professional recruiter directly. You can get access information from the home page on this site. It is too easy to get incorrect opinions in this forum unless they ae posted by a professional recruiter, of which there ae several who contribute to this forum!

There is a reason that there are issues barring certain problems from being a soldier, however that does not bar them from pursuing other routes of service, such as with civilian government for example, or volunteering to help in communities.

The health restrictions are in place for a number of reasons, to include protecting you from making a health situation worse. It is not a reflection on a person, although unfortunate.

As to "PMing" a person, simply call a professional recruiter - if an issue is waiverable they will have the information you need to know. If the answer is not what you want to hear, you can contact another recruiter for a second opinion (so to speak) for your own piece of mind - the regulations do not change from recruiter to recruiter...
