Default A boy and his Dog

Well, I searched this. I am shipping in June and I am worried that my Dog (which is my best friend) will be ticked when I leave and come back. Anyone have experiences with a dogs reaction when you leave and come back after a few months, whether it was on deployment or to basic doesn't really matter. Did it take a while for him to get used to you again? Did he remember you? Can you bring your dog to family day? I know this question may seem kind of petty, but this little guy is probably my best and only friend.

My dog didn't have issues with me when I was deployed. I had gone 6 months, (leave), then 4 months.

I'm really close to my dog and when I went to basic she really didn't have problems according to my mom. When I got back I could tell she missed me lol

My dog and I are pretty close. I have a wiener dog. That little guy when I got back from RSP was so mad, and wouldn't let me out of his sight. lol.
