Warrant officer- stands with the letter W in front-W-1 to W-5
NCO- has an E in front and goes from E-1 to E-9
Commisioned Officer- stands with the letter O in front, say sir or mamm to them and salute when you see them....0-1 to 0-10

The other response is partially correct. The rank structure is split in the way that was written below.
The commissioned officer ranks (beginning with pay grade O-1, 2d Lieutenant, and going all the way to O-10, which is General...<4 stars>) are those individuals appointed under authority provided the President of the United States. They get there in one of three ways: 1) graduation from the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY; 2) graduation from a college ROTC program; or 3) graduation from the Army's Officer Candidate School at Fort Benning, GA. The officers are the "managers" of the army, many of whom are given the responsibility of command.

The warrant officer ranks (beginning with pay grade W-1, Warrant Officer One, and going to W-5, which is Chief Warrant Officer Five) are those individuals who graduate from Warrant Officer Candidate School at Fort Rucker, AL. While subordinate in rank to the other officer ranks, they are the Army's technical experts in the field in which they work. They are afforded the same priveleges as Commissioned Officers.

The NCO (or Non-Commissioned Officer) ranks are drawn from the enlisted force - the bulk of the army. The NCO ranks begin at pay grade E-4 (Corporal) and go to E-10 (Command Sergeant Major of the Army). The NCOs are the "backbone of the Army" and provide the front line leadership for junior soldiers and are responsible for the execution of missions and welfare and training of their subordinates. Without the NCO, the authority of the officer would diminish. A soldier can become an NCO after a few years of enlistment, rising in grade and completing a few leadership courses such as the Primary Leadership Development Course (PLDC).

U NEED TO REPORT THIS IMMIDIATLY IT NOT ONLY IS NOT ALLOWED, BUT IT IS A CRIME THAT IS PUNISHABLE ON ALL OFFENCES, AND YOU NEED TO REPORT IT ASAP...REPORT IT TO THE MP'S THE OFFICER IN CHARGE, YOUR PARENTS AND LASTLY THE LOCAL POLICE DEPARTMENT.
