I recently have made a choice to go forward with joining the national guard i had a few questions

    - if i joined the team (i live in kansas) would i be able to continue living in kansas? are there any bases in kansas?i know that i would have to do training somewhere else but is there a location that i would be able to be in kansas

    - how do i sign up exactly?

    - Am i eligble for the sign on bonus listed on the site?

You would be able to continue to live in Kansas after you finish your training. There are several National Guard armories throughout Kansas. To move forward you need to get in touch with a recruiter in your area. They will be able to explain the sign on bonus criteria to you. It depends on what job you want to do and if there are any vaccancies for those jobs. If you don't know who the recruiter is in your area, you should go to www.nationalguard.com and click to contact a Hero On Call. They will connect you with the recruiter in your area.
