As the previous poster said check with your recrutier, but you defintely don't want to go part-time the military is not going to give you medical for a national guard member, and they wont shell out money until you complete basic and AIT at all. So pending you pass those two there tution assistance (varies on school) there GI bill (need to pass basic and AIT).
Drilling Soldiers can buy into Tricare health insurance at a subsidized rate. See http://www.tricare.osd.mil/reserve/index.cfm.
If you do decide to serve on active duty, be advised that service as a Soldier is way more than just a job. If you join active duty for money and benefits, then you might not be happy in the long term. Think carefully about what you're getting yourself into.
