    Default Working overseas?

    I recently got off active duty of 4 years and I'm now in the army national guard here in new york, I haven't reported yet because I have 30 days to. I was offer a job to work for a year contract overseas in Kuwait but I want to know I'm I allowed to work overseas and not do my drills and also I have 2 years stabilization? please let me know if anyone have any information..

    Really it would up to your NG unit, if they would allow you to go. But what they would likely do is put you in the ING or Inactive National Guard. best thing to do is contact your unit and talk to them.
