    Default Would like to enlist.

I would like to enlist bad but I have G.E.D and plus I've failed the ASVAB twice so far. Its the math part. I really don't know what to do. I study and try to do it but I always fail. What can I do?

Any thought about attending a college math prep class? It will work wonders if you commit!

    Post Check your local bookstore

Look for an ASVAB study guide at your local bookstore, or check online.

If studying doesn't help, you may need to find a tutor. Many adult education centers can tutor you in specific subjects and even specifically for the ASVAB.

    Post dont give up

it doesnt matter if you have a ged, you could enlist with that. as far as the asvab goes, i got a practice book from the library, and after doing that for a week the asvab was a walk in the park.
Good luck on your next attempt.

I have a GED as well and have no problem joining at all. I took the asvab and got a high score but my math section didnt come out very well. I went to the place where im going for my GED and they found me a tutor for free and after a few sessions I was doing great I just needed a little help. Dont be afraid to ask.
