    Question advise for kids

Hey i am currently trying to get into the guard. I have 3 kids 11-9-2 1/2. all boys ,they are the best kids ever. I'm a little worried about how they are going to react when I actually go to bct. They say they are proud now but I dont know how their going to take it when I leave. My kids mean everything to me and I want to make this as easy as I can on them. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The only thing you can really do is write to them as often as you can. It will help to reassure that you have not forgotten them and will be coming back.

Yeah there's really no magic solution to fixing how a child is going to feel. My best advise is to explain what you're doing and why it's important, in terms they'll understand. That's all you can really do anyhow, and keeping in contact with them helps too.
