    Default Nurse Officer

Hi, I am on A/D Navy planning to leave active service soon (E6 with 8 years of service). I am a professional Nurse (BSN) graduate from NLN acreddited college with unrestricted license from the commonwealth of Puerto Rico, but no NCLEX. I was told by NATIONAL GUARD Recruiters fromn PR that I can not become a Nurse in the Guard. Is that true? Is any other option available to become an officer?

    Thanks,

    Cesar

You can't serve in Nurse Corps without passing the NCLEX. What is "NLN"?

If you have a bachelors degree from an accredited college, you meet one of several requirements for OCS. Completing OCS will qualify you for other branches of service, but not nurse corps.
