are they enclosed??? or not?
are they enclosed??? or not?
They're enclosed....and the cameras are waterproof.
It's like Starship Troopers...We're fully integrated now...![]()
Some are enclosed and some are open, depends on the building. There are NO males. You will be fine, any shyness will disappear about a few weeks.
When I went to my first RSP drill, and went to take my first shower, I was surprised by the open showers. It didn't cross my mind at all so I didn't really have time to get nervous about it, I just did it. It'll feel a little awkward but the time limit will have you thinking about how fast you can get it done, not who's looking at your va-jay.

Funny, I just had this conversation with a bunch of enlisted girls I PT with. LOL. I've been doing the "open showers" thing for about a month now.... Most girls DO look, not at the va-jay (well... Unless it's crazy unkempt)but at overall body type. They try to be sly about it, but what else do you expect from a society so obsessed with body image? It doesn't bother me when they look, I know it's because their jealous.bwahahaha...

Hooah!
You can't dismiss this as a legitimate concern before someone enters IET, but you have to laugh about it after you go through it.
Between shower drills, the kids that love to walk around naked every time that they are in the barracks, group battle buddy tick checks (imagine fifty naked males in a latrine checking each others' butt cracks), back scratching circles... et cetera, et cetera...
We had open showers at Reception and closed ones for OSUT... you won't even know the difference. In fact, I wish that we had open ones - it was tough to shower together in those individual stalls when we were pressed for time.![]()

You two crack me up! Q, that's a good point, I never actually thought about that. chd, not really looking forward to the checking butt cracks, but it's better than having ticks in your crack.
