Thread: confused a bit

    Default confused a bit

    I would like to reenlist
tho I do not know where I stand

My unit was moving to another town
    so another could move in
at the same time I was having medical problems

I had just extended my enlistment
    recieved half of my bonus
then was deemed not fit for duty
    and told not to return

    I never recieved my dd214
and the, what ever the "paystubs" are called, stopped coming
after almost a year of zero's
(so my bank account was closed)
and just over two years later, after my ets shoulda been, I recieved some sort of cert saying time served
and of course. .no second half of the bonus

I attempted to get ahold of my dd214's from some agency that apparently collects them, and was told they didnt exist or they didnt have them

    how do I find out:

    1.) where I stand
    2.) am I owed money
    3.) do I owe time
4.) can I get back in

    thank you,

to try to get your dd214 u need to go to the national archieves records administartions web site http://www.archives.gov/st-louis/military-personnel/ and request a new copy of it to be forwarded to you. as far as anything else goes i'm not really too sure but at least with that it's a start. sorry i couldn't be more useful to you.
