    If you're assigned to a medical detachment and your unit gets mobilized and deployed you will not be sent if you're not MOS qualified as a medic (there are no 11B slots on a medical detachment). If on the other hand you're assigned to an infantry unit as a medic but you're 11B qualified, there's a good chance that you may be deployed since you have a feeder MOS for the unit (the possibility is stronger is they have a shortage of 11B's).
