I got more sleep the first night in BCT then at freaking 30th. That place was MISERABLE!
Lost feeling in my toes standing in those stupid lines at 30th. Only now starting to get feeling in them back(3 weeks after coming home from OSUT).
I'll be there same day, we can enjoy the suck together!..lol
FYI... I went to reception with like 400 other people... I even knew a few from back home. Not once did I get to see any of them. :( But it's all good, you'll make new friends at reception. Then you'll be ripped apart into 2 groups... the 11x, and everyone-else! The group you're in at 30th AG dose not mean you ship with them to BCT. Most you will see. But, when you get down range, after your shark-attack, you'll be divided up into your platoons. Our company (Eco 3/47) was split up into alphabetical order, however other companies have done it differently. And if you're really lucky, you'll go to AIT with 1/2 your company. Good times my friend, good times.

A buddy of mine is also an 18X, so I'm hopin we'll be together at BCT, beings our pipeline is exactly the same. I was told by recruiters in "The Big Army" that usually all 18X's will be in BCT together, mixed with 11x,11B, etc... so we'll see.
This was over 15 years ago but when I went down range, I did not see any of the people that I started with. B co. 1/19

pretty sure that 18Xs go to 11B OSUT. i know that they are separated out at reception. we only had two processing the same day i arrived and they got put with the 11Bs.

We had 18X with us at 2-19. We had a couple actually. And note 30th AG is **** on earth i'd rather go through a couple shark attacks and the gas chamber again then that 30th again.
