Okay, new to this whole thing. Going into the guard and choosing 91w or 91s MOS. Anyway, how does the 20,000 sign on bonus work? Do you recieve it after your minimum 3 year service? or in parts?

You will receive the first half of your bonus (minus taxes) upon completion of Basic Training and AIT. You will receive the second half (minus taxes) after your third year anniversary of enlisting.
