I would like to talk with a recruiter in Missouri or Illinois. Anyone know of one or do I even have to use a MO recruiter if not recruiters let me have it.
My current recruiter is about worthless.

You don't have to use a MO recruiter. The choice is yours to go anywhere you want.But if you enlisted in Illinois and you live in Missouri you may not get all the benfits that you are entitled to you.

Mostly Education more than anything.You're bonus should be fine as long the choice of your MOS is the same as NGB or Illinois Guard. I looked at both of them their about the same other than one or two mos.
The education benefits is going to hurt you the most. One Missouri might have better educational benefits than Illinois.
When I was recruiting for Maryland we have alot of this. VA enlisting into DC MD going to DC or VA.Mostly because the person wanted to go to a school in that area.
If you are not a resident of that state you are not going to get that much unless you change addresses.
