    Hello
I would first like to say that I found alot of useful information without hassell of some other forums. I would like to thank everyone for taking their time to help "us" civies.

I will be attending a Military College, under the Early Commissioning Program.
I will have to spend 2-3 years as a ARNG member until I get my degree. During this time I would like to attend RANGER school, among many other course's.
I have been recently told to join under a Special Force Battalion, What type of jobs would I be doing?

I've read in a Ranger/SF book that there are students attending the RANGER school who are not Airborne/Air Assasult, would this be advisable?
I only ask because common sense tells me the more times Im jumping out of a plane that I may "break" something.

And lastly I would also like to attend a Sniper employment course, are Officers allowed to do this?

Any help would be very appreciated.
Thank you for your time (In advance)

If you find a Guard unit who will send an ECP lieutenant to Ranger school, let me know, so I can put a stop to it. That would be absolutely an absurd waste of training dollars and a school quota to send a non-DMOSQ Soldier to advanced schooling. It is also firmly against the reg (NGR 600-100).

What school will you attend to complete your degree? What are your plans once you complete the degree?
