I know as a marine in San Antonio I would go out in Dress Blues and the girls and drinks were amazing;)

My packet was submitted for the board at HQJAG to review with the deadline of June 25th. I guess that it takes about a month before they decide if I am accepted.

mabey my unit just rocks but I live 150 or so miles away and they provide a room for me on drill weekends. They told me that anyone living over 50 miles away gets billeted. :D

I do believe that if it is over 50 miles they are required to billet you during drills.

As a former Marine, the thing I disliked most about the Marines was that they screwed with you all the time. Not just in boot camp. For example: as a corporal stationed in Japan living out in town...
