  • RE-3 Waiver (Details Inside)

I joined the NG back in 2009 before graduating high school and was set to ship out June 2010. However, I had a knee injury that postponed it and later got me an uncharacterized discharge with an RE-3 seperatation code. I built my knee back up and in 2011 sent a request to MEPS for a physical but was denied for "chronic bilateral knee pain". My doctor wrote that on some medical documents and it has problemed me ever since. I have went to sports specialists since and have gotten completely cleared, and am wanting to send up another request. Will they entertain a request? If so, what are the chances of it being denied? Also, having trouble finding a recruiter, are they avoiding anyone who seeks waivers? Thanks for the advice.
