Is Texas still actively recruiting officers? I wasn't sure with the new budget cuts looming. I am prior service and would like to apply for ocs...anyone know a recruiter around Bryan/College Station? Google says the nearest one is in El Paso.

I think you are the 3rd person from Texas to ask this question in the last week.

Someone had actually posted the OSM's contact numbers on here as well within the last few days.

Anyway, every geographical region is serviced by at least one RRNCO, although the physical offices may be farther away.

Or you could have visited the TXARNG website and found all the information on the program at: http://www.txarng.com/HTML/ocs.html

To my knowledge, they are. Seeking out a recruiter is the way to go as they will have the most up to date information. If you're looking for a recruiter, you might try the Pre-Qualification form online. Here's the link: http://bit.ly/JMCld5. You should receive a call from a local recruiter within 10 business days!
