  • Can I attend WLC when not MOSQ?

My unit signed me up to attend WLC in September because I have been E5 for over a year. However, now I am no longer qualified in my MOS (was 35P and not able to maintain language proficiency). Will I be able to attend WLC without being MOSQ? It seems silly to me to allow soldiers who don't even have a job to attend, which is why I am asking. I don't want to waste a slot that someone else could have.

Yes you can still attend WLC as you're still considered MOS qualified.

It's imperative for you to attend WLC since you've been pinned your E-5 for over a year now. WLC will be essential to success as an NCO.
