    my friend yesterday scored a 30 on the asvab is there a waiver he could get for that

    Just to be clear, you got a 30 on the ASVAB? I don't want the regulars to get it mixed up.

    I've never heard of a waiver for this type of thing. But I am by no means an expert on waivers or the ASVAB. I know he can retest. Tell him to talk with his recruiter.

      There is no waiver authorized. The current "minimum" score required for the ASVAB/AFQT to enlist into the Army National Guard is 31.

        There is no limit to the number of times he can take the ASVAB. However, must wait a minimum of 30 days after taking first test, 30 days after taking the test a second time, and then a minimum of six months for any retests thereafter.
