  • National Guard Waivers currently being issued?

I understand it varies state to state, although I have a more specific question:

I had back surgery, L5-S1 exactly a year ago, I am prior service-

I am trying to re-enlist and I am physcially fine, flexiable and able to ruck with heavy weight etc.

My recruiter sent up a waiver to MEPS(without me going) and then said once MEPS deals with it he will forward it to the NGB, with all my paperwork included (ranging from MRIs to meds taken during the actually surgery, and written procedures step to step) He mentioned that once its 'Approved' I'll then go and get my physcial?

The med. code is 722.10 and I know waivers usually open up at the beginning of summer, any recruiters or other people in any sort of this type of situation? Any advice, help, comments would be great! Thank you!
