by the way, they are letting me keep my e5 so i am not lying in that aspect. either way you cut it... you're right, im right, it does not matter. people will always have their own opinions on what it right. that was never my initial question in this thread. for that, it should be closed done and over with.
I don't understand. You aren't even a soldier yet, so you can't be a Sergeant.

This is like an Army Specialist wearing USMC Corporal rank and claiming to be an NCO because they're the same pay grade.

Actally that analogy is not even close to being the same, as i was an E5... a specialist is an E4. don't get it... regardless, you joined this discussion after the horse had already been beaten to a bloody pulp. if you don't have any input to my original question, why add fuel to an extinguished fire? I'm so done with this thread, chief kemosabe was the only one who have me any info that actually pertained to what i was asking in my original post. everyone else seems to want to find something to argue about. I'm going to honorably bow out of this thread and let you guys carry on with whatever it is you want to find fault in. it's simply not worth the time. take care guys, have fun.

Or like a discharged Navy Quartermaster wearing Army Sergeant Major stripes because he said he trained helmsmen.

That's because a topic of this nature coming from someone that is prior service of ANY branch is, in itself, ridiculous.

I feel deprived that I have never seen this before. I will try and rectify that immediately. Thank you Viceroy06 for bringing this to my attention.

                        Hooah.

I've lost count how many times I've watched this movie. The neighborhood scenes hit me the hardest because I've driven though there so many times. My other favorite clip:

Listening to LT GEN Hal Moore (Ret) takes you right back to 1964.
