  • About prior conviction eligibility

Hello, I have a friend who is currently interested in joining the army. The problem however, is that he plead guilty to a misdemeanor count of child pornography. This was a misdemeanor count due to the fact that both he and the 'child' in question are about the same age and the girl was also charged for recording herself. Will he be denied enrollment automatically, or does he have a chance to get through if he can explain the situation Thanks

    1. No one here believes that we are talking about your "friend"

    2. Most likely no, but ask a recruiter anyway, sometimes people don't understand 100% exactly what they were charged and convcited of.
