    i am having trouble keeping my back straight for push-ups to where i don't completely drop by body to the ground any there anything someone can tell me to help and/or any tips to help get my back straight

    I'm no expert, but might be a core strength issue -- you could practice the body position and work on your core strength by doing planks (basically, hold pushup position but supported by your forearms) for increasing intervals (30 seconds, 1 minute, 2 minutes).
