I went thru a PHA and got a voucher for dental work.. Both bottom wisdom teeth they want out, even though they dont bother me.. I went to the dental contractor and wants to schedule the appt. Dentist also said i wont b able to work for 2-4 days due to swelling and recovery. Can the unit place me on orders to compensate my own personal time from work for something the military wants done? I have no sick time at my full time employer and feel I shouldnt have to take from my own vacation time to do something the Army is requiring..

Talk with your Admin NCO, maybe you can get some RMA's. Or use it as a split drill.

You should be paid for the time at the dentist but you probably won't be paid for recovery.
