    Re: FY-10 recruiting guidance

I have been able to get in contact with a very good, squared away recruiter in the Denver area (recommended to me by one of the guy's at my civilian work who's been in the NG for a couple of years).

The first meeting we had a couple of weeks ago, he gave me a tonne of paperwork to fill out, told me to get some good reference letters, and to write one myself regarding what happened in my previous enlistment, and what I've done to better myself since then.

My references are from a 2 former Army Sgts, an Air Force Captain, and a Chief of Police - the package was sent in on Monday, and he estimates about 2 weeks till we hear something back (apparantely its going to a General who will review it and either grant the waiver or tell me to come back in 6-12 months, which is fine, as I'm only 26 so have plenty of time till the cut off age!).

With regard to MOS, I've been strongly tempted by the 11B units they have here in CO, but also by some of the aviation/medical ones too.
