Archive 2006: Basic Branch officers serve in one of three branches: Combat Arms (including Armor, Aviation and Infantry), Combat Support (such as Military Police and Military Intelligence) and Combat Service Support (Finance, Ordnance, Quartermaster and others). These three branches represent a total of 16 basic fields.
