      I jog with a weighted vest, when I'm in the field I run with my LBE and camelback. But hey at OCS we had to run with our rucks as they were timed events.

        Nothing wrong with being tall or short, just do your job to best of your ability and try to better yourself as a person. Thats all that can be asked of anyone.

          There really is no need to be running with a pack on, your gonna have a profile before you ever even get in. A profile is when you cant do something because your hurt, doctors orders. When you come in you will be built up to the rucking part. you need to focus on pt. 2 mile run and Pushups situps. The ruck march is at the end of basic and you will be ready for that when you get there cause all during basic you ruck everywhere. So just worry about your weight, and pt test. Weight because you get taped and dont want to be over. Thats my view point
