Last is National Guard. See the hand in the pocket? You're not really portraying the Guard in a positive way

and a mature looking E5. The E5s that I have over here look like babies. We went to the field with our TPU soldiers and they were all looking at the 40 to 50 something Specialists like it something abnormal to be.

With all due respect, and at the risk of preaching to the choir, the point is, gentlemen, that we have made up upwards of 20% of the population of deployed soldiers in Afghanistan and Iraq since 2001. My outward reaction to people, on the outside looking in, that 'look down upon' the ARNG is one of tolerance not embarrassment or self-doubt. However, my inward reaction is to take serious offense to such misinformed, mislead ignorance and stupidity. National Guard personnel fight, live and die alongside all other ground forces represented abroad--period. I wouldn't go so far as to take a position of arrogance and indifference. But I would strongly encourage anyone interested in becoming a member of the ARNG or simply just curious about the truth need to man up and debunk a long since antiquated popular opinion.
