Is there an unwaiverable age limit for SF for officers?

I'm in OCS right now. Commissioning in August 09. Probably branching infantry, getting all the schools they'll give me. By the time I finish BOLC II/III and any schools and spend a little time at my unit ... I'll be in my early 40s.

If I tried to go SF, I'd probably be 42-43 years old. Maybe 44.

      Is it doable?

Let me rephrase: The question isn't whether I think I can do it. The question is, would *they* let me try at that age?
